Abstract

In this work, 1,2,3-triazole-linked thiosemicarbazones are used to synthesize bioactive thiazole derivatives, and their antioxidant properties are assessed. Using six 1,2,3-triazole-linked thiosemicarbazone derivatives combined with chloroacetone to create the final thiazole. Both the DPPH and ABTS assays were used to assess the synthetic compounds' antioxidant properties. Strong antioxidant potential was indicated by the compounds' lower IC50 values, as shown by the DPPH experiment. These findings show that the 1,2,3-triazole and thiazole moieties can be hybridized to increase their antioxidant properties, which makes them attractive options for potential medicinal development.
