A Study on the Mediating Effect of Job Satisfaction on Job Retention of Organizational and Human Resource Management Under Sichuan Universities

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to examine the role of organization management and human resource management in job retention among college and university teachers. The study also explored the relationship between four concepts: organization management, human resource management, job satisfaction, and job retention. The study used a self-administered questionnaire to collect data from 1,400 teachers randomly selected from 27 universities in Sichuan. The results of the study show that organization management and human resource management have a positive and significant effect on job retention of university teachers. In addition, an increase in job satisfaction can greatly increase college teachers' job retention intentions and mediate the relationship between organization management and human resource management on job retention among college teachers in Sichuan. This study provides valuable insights and directions for the implementation of job retention strategies for teachers in Sichuan universities.
