Generalizedα-ψ Contractive Type Mappings and Related Fixed Point Theorems with Applications

Abstract

In this paper, we introduce and study a class of mappings called generalized - contractive mappings, which are a generalization of the well-known - contractive mappings. We explore various fixed point theorems for such mappings in complete metric spaces, using the concept of  -admissible mappings. Additionally, we apply our main results to establish fixed point theorems for metric spaces with partial orders. Our results extend and improve upon a number of previously established results in the literature, and we provide illustrative examples to demonstrate the effectiveness of our approach.
