Abstract

This paper presents the design and development of embedded protocols on the STM32 platform for various appli- cations. The STM32 microcontroller family offers a powerful and flexible platform for developing embedded systems, and its extensive peripheral set enables the implementation of diverse communication protocols. The report focuses on the design and development of protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, and CAN, which are commonly used in embedded systems for communication with peripheral devices and inter-device communication. The development process involves configuring the STM32 peripherals, implementing protocol-specific functionalities, and optimizing performance for specific application requirements. The report also highlights the importance of protocol selection based on application characteristics and provides insights into debugging and testing techniques. The findings of this research contribute to the knowledge and understanding of embedded protocol design on the STM32 platform, providing a foundation for future development of efficient and reliable embedded systems for a wide range of applications.
