On Generalized Jordan (α,1) - Derivations in Semiprime Rings with Involution

Abstract

The purpose of this note is to prove the following result. Let R be a 2-torsion free semiprime *-ring and let  be an automorphism of R. If there exists an additive mapping  associated with a Jordan - derivation d of R such that generalized Jordan - derivation on R, then G is a generalized -derivation on R. Further, some more related results are obtained.
