Abstract
This article aims to present perspectives and directions for human resource management in the current era where organizations must adapt to changes according to both internal and external environments, resulting in a transformation of the working environments. Currently, employees at all levels within an organization must be prepared to deal with rapidly changing technologies and various contexts, particularly in the realm of new technologies that assist in work processes. This involves adapting processes, changing mindsets, and adjusting work practices to efficiently carry out tasks. A crucial group of technologies driving organizational change is the SMAC group, which stands for Social media, Mobility, Analytics, and Cloud. These components facilitate communication between individuals, create online communities through the use of mobile devices, and contribute to the analysis of data in the cloud. Employees in the current organization must understand these technologies to embrace the future by continuously learning new technological advancements, utilizing social media, and staying updated with news and new knowledge. Apart from technology, developing and enhancing essential skills for business operations and responding to work practices are crucial for increasing efficiency and creating sustainability within the organization. Additionally, organizations must prioritize employee well-being, employee satisfaction, equity in the workplace, and flexibility in working, including hybrid working. It is essential to integrate diversity and inclusion in the workforce to foster uniqueness within the organization. Human resource departments must play a pivotal role in setting the direction and driving the development of knowledge, skills, attitudes, and potential of employees within the organization. This will equip them with technological competencies and necessary skills to perform tasks efficiently and effectively, which can contribute to the overall benefits of the organization.
