Entrepreneurship Development Strategy Mapping Culinary Tour: Study of Six Cisumdawu Toll Gates, Sumedang Regency

Abstract

Mapping the development of culinary tourism entrepreneurship is a further structuring step towards sustainable tourism which plays an important role in encouraging community economic growth along with the construction of supporting facilities including access to the Cisumdawu Toll Road. The research was carried out with a field survey to determine the mapping of culinary tourism entrepreneurship development strategies at six Cisumdawu toll gates, Sumedang Regency. The research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive method through a survey with the Canvas and SWOT business analysis models. The research shows a mapping of culinary tourism from six Cisumdawu toll gates the concentrations are located near the Sumedang toll gate (50%), Jatinangor (27%), Pamulihan (10%), Ujungjaya (6%), Cimalaka (5%), and the smallest is Paseh (1%). Mapping entrepreneurship development strategies through aggressive growth policies must be implemented with a focus on using strengths to take advantage of existing opportunities including aspects of marketing, operationalization, human resources and finance with the hope of building tourism towards growth, development and sustainability supporting Sumedang as a Regency.
