On the Edge Version of Zagreb Coindex

Abstract

The first Zagreb coindex is the sum of degrees of non adjacent vertices of a graph G. In this paper the edge version of the first Zagreb coindex is defined as the reformulated Zagreb coindex. We explore here their basic mathematical properties and using these results, the reformulated Zagreb coindices of some classes of chemical graphs are computed.
