Main Article Content
Abstract
This article is devoted to the place of studying the elements of the theory of probability in the mathematics course of secondary general education, its content, and the possibilities of effective teaching. In the article, the elements of probability theory at school: event, inevitable and random event, simple (elementary) random events, complex random events, related random events, unrelated random events, probability of an event The role of practical content issues in teaching such concepts as value is sufficiently revealed, and examples of such content issues are provided.
