A Study About the Product Features of Eco-Friendly Personal Care Products

Abstract
The rising interest in the environment over the last several years has led to a huge growth in the demand for the Eco-friendly products. Nowadays, more and more consumers are "thinking green" and are prepared to pay more for eco- friendly goods. Consumers who desire and are willing to purchase these products in growing numbers go through the purchasing process. The study investigates the satisfactory level of purchasing the eco-friendly personal care products and consumer attitudes towards the product features personal care products The primary data was collected from the respondents with the help of structured opened and closed-ended questionnaires. The data was collected from 460 consumers by applying a multistage stratified proportionate random sampling method and analysed the collected data by using statistical tools including percentage analysis, factor analysis and the one-sample t-test. This study examines how consumers will buy eco-friendly personal care products after they are aware of the qualities and features of the product. Factor analysis is used to analyse the product features for purchasing eco-friendly personal care products. According to the research's conclusions, the physical element, quality and health factor, price factor, sensory factor, and marketing factor are the crucial aspect of a product's attributes.
