Studies Conducted on A Unique Roof Pond Layout for Cooling Buildings
Main Article Content
Abstract
-Over the past two decades, developing countries have experienced a severe energy crisis, particularly during summer, due to high building cooling load requirements. This crisis is expected to continue due to improved living standards and an increasing global population. Passive techniques, such as evaporative cooling, can help reduce energy consumption in hot climatic conditions. A study using ANSYS (CFD) tool was conducted to determine the temperature distribution and average temperature of the room, with the average temperature obtained being 313.15K without a roof pond and 302.15K with a roof pond.
