Abstract

A revolutionary network of networked, self-aware physical items is the goal of the Internet of Things (IoT). In the event of an emergency, the innovative Internet of Things (IoT) could have numerous applications. Because of its life-saving capabilities, the Internet of Things (IoT) is pervasive and crucial in catastrophe management. Internet of Things (IoT) catastrophe management is the subject of this essay. This article presents IoT catastrophe management for multiple disaster types and compares the various options that are currently available. Additionally, it highlights various methodologies that address the application, IoT architecture, and the study's focus on various accidents. It also provides examples of IoT applications, such as an early-warning system for fire and earthquake detection, and shows how to implement them.
