IoT-Enabled Solar Energy Management System: Design And Performance Analysis

Abstract
This paper uses MATLAB Simulink to design and simulation of IOT based grid-connected photovoltaic system. The system is made up of a solar cell, a DC/DC converter, and a DC/AC inverter. Each component approximation of the PV cell's internal mechanism is discussed. Finally, the output voltage of the DC/DC converter and grid may be increased by employing a DC/AC inverter. Thing Speak also connects the output data to the IOT platform. The simulation findings show that by utilizing the Thing Speak (IOT) platform, the proposed model can successfully represent the actual characteristics of a grid-linked PV system, as well as performance monitoring and real-time control of PV systems. This facilitates control of a PV system that is located in a remote location. Maintenance, data collection, and analysis are all part of the process.
