Abstract

In the contemporary landscape, where time constraints pose challenges to traditional shopping, a pressing need for more efficient and convenient methods has emerged. This paper proposes a solution in the form of a comprehensive shopping mall application designed to address common shopping challenges. This innovative application, featuring a mobile platform for Android and a server-side module as the central database, offers a range of functionalities. It provides detailed information about mall shops, item availability, customer wish lists, and a dynamic mall map. Utilizing wireless communication, the application determines the customer's precise location within the mall, both vertically and horizontally. Augmented reality enhances the shopping experience by connecting users with promotional offers, loyalty programs, and related details. Going beyond immediate needs, the application leverages data analytics to anticipate future trends, offering personalized recommendations and discounts based on user preferences and shopping behaviors. Emphasizing sustainability, it promotes eco-friendly practices like digital receipts and reminders for reusable bags. Additionally, the application serves as a central hub for mall events, providing information on sales, workshops, and entertainment options, thereby enhancing the overall mall experience.
