Abstract
Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a prevalent cause of dementia since it causes permanent damage to the neurons that are responsible for storing memories. Medical practitioners able to better treat their patients and slowdown the disease's development by detecting it in the premature stages. The MRI diagnosis generally helps the Healthcare professionals in order to identify the image from normal to AD. In some clinical situations, when there is no significant different in MRI findings between the healthy controls and the MCI group it becomes very challenging for the experts to detect the real case scenario. This paper presented a deep learning-inspired optimization approach to aid in the accurate detection of normal and MCI MRIs, to overcome the significant difficulty in the field image segmentation.
