The article delves into pivotal moments, including the birth of ambulance services in the 18th and 19th centuries, the development of EMS systems in the late 1960s, and the introduction of Advanced Life Support (ALS). It also highlights the emergence of Community Paramedicine as a groundbreaking model for extending paramedic roles into preventive and primary care services.
