Companions of Imam Hussein (Peace Be Upon Him) in the Historical Literature

Abstract

Our study came to try to shed light on a good group that believed in their Lord and His victory, so He increased them in guidance and insight, tied their hearts, raised their status, raised their word, and immortalized their remembrance, so they became truly the title of virtues and values. They lived it, until it elevated them to the highest degrees of humanity and reached the stages of perfection, and there is no doubt that with their faith, steadfastness, and defiance, they carried the noblest principles, morals, and values in the universe. The research aims to know the names of the supporters of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) who were martyred with him in Karbala from among the Hashemites, and most of them were from the Abi Talib family, so some historians called them (the Talibis), and the names of the non-Hashemite supporters whose names differed in historical sources and blogs as well as their number, so We counted them and listed their names in tables.
